- Mk 14:1 After two days it was the Passover and the Festival of Unleavened Bread. The chief priests and the scribes were looking for a treacherous way to arrest and kill Him. ²“Not during the festival,” they said, “or there may be rioting among the people.”

- Mk 14⁴³While He was still speaking, Judas, one of the Twelve, suddenly arrived. With him was a mob, with swords and clubs, from the chief priests, the scribes, and the elders.

- Mk14 ⁵⁰Then they all deserted Him and ran away.

- Mk 14⁵⁵The chief priests and the whole Sanhedrin were looking for testimony against Jesus to put Him to death, but they could find none.

- Mk 14⁶¹But He kept silent and did not answer anything. Again the high priest questioned Him, “Are You the Messiah, the Son of the Blessed One?”
- Mk 14⁶²“I am,” said Jesus, “and all of you^[o] will see the Son of Man seated at the right hand of the Power and coming with the clouds of heaven.”
- Mk 14⁶⁴You have heard the blasphemy! What is your decision?” And they all condemned Him to be deserving of death.

- As He was going out of the temple complex, one of His disciples said to Him, “Teacher, look! What massive stones! What impressive buildings!”
- Mk 13²Jesus said to him, “Do you see these great buildings? Not one stone will be left here on another that will not be thrown down!”
- Mk 13:3-13 The End Times
  - Mk 13⁶Many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am He,’ and they will deceive many.
  - Mk 13⁸For nation will rise up against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be earthquakes in various places, and famines.^[a] These are the beginning of birth pains.
  - ⁹“But you, be on your guard! They will hand you over to sanhedrins,^[b] and you will be flogged in the synagogues. You will stand before governors and kings because of Me, as a witness to them.

- Mk 13¹⁹For those will be days of tribulation, the kind that hasn’t been from the beginning of the world,^[h] which God created, until now and never will be again!
- Mk 13²⁰Unless the Lord limited those days, no one would survive.^[i] But He limited those days because of the elect, whom He chose.
- Mk 13²²For false messiahs^[j] and false prophets will rise up and will perform signs and wonders to lead astray, if possible, the elect.
- Mk 13:24-27 AFTER THE TRIBULATION
- Mk 13²⁴“But in those days, after that tribulation:
- Mk 13:24 The sun will be darkened,
  and the moon will not shed its light;
- Mk 13:25 the stars will be falling from the sky,
  and the celestial powers will be shaken.
- Mk 13²⁶Then they will see the Son of Man coming in clouds with great power and glory.
- Mk 13 ²⁷He will send out the angels and gather His elect from the four winds, from the end of the earth to the end of the sky.

    - ²⁷For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes as far as the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.
  - AFTER TRIBULATION
    - The sun will be darkened,

      the stars will fall from the sky,
      and the celestial powers will be shaken.
    - ³⁰“Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and then all the peoples of the earth^[m] will mourn;^[n] and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
    - ³¹He will send out His angels with a loud trumpet, and they will gather His elect from the four winds, from one end of the sky to the other.
    - This passage alone supports the post tribulation rapture of the saints.
  - The Fig Tree lesson
    - ³³In the same way, when you see all these things, recognize^[o] that He^[p] is near—at the door!
    - ³⁵Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will never pass away.
- Mt 24:36-44 No one knows the time
  - ³⁶“Now concerning that day and hour no one knows—neither the angels in heaven, nor the Son^[q] —except the Father only.
  - I wish we’d all been ready tells this passage of scripture
  - ⁴²Therefore be alert, since you don’t know what day^[s] your Lord is coming.
  - ⁴⁴This is why you also must be ready, because the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.

Matthew 18
- Mt 18:1-6 Who is the Greatest in Heaven?
  - a little child
    - ³Then he said, “I tell you the truth, unless you turn from your sins and become like little children, you will never get into the Kingdom of Heaven. ⁴So anyone who becomes as humble as this little child is the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven.
  - Don’t cause one to suffer – to fall into sin
    - ⁶But if you cause one of these little ones who trusts in me to fall into sin, it would be better for you to have a large millstone tied around your neck and be drowned in the depths of the sea.

Mindful Meditating

choose a verse,
set a timer for 5 minutes, or whatever works for you.
example: Matt 9:22
repeat to yourself, and at each word, enunciate the next word in the sentence starting with the first word…

example:

²²But Jesus turned and saw her. “Have courage, daughter,” He said. “Your faith has made you well.”
BUT Jesus turned and saw her.
Have courage, daughter, He said.
YOUR faith has made you well.
Your FAITH has made you well.
Your faith HAS made you well.

…and so on. This will cause you to look at the verse more intently, and may have you memorize it before your five minutes are done.
