This is my 100th post.
I wanted it to be great, pithy, important, insightful.
But – it’s just a post.
I’m hoping that I can get some folks to comment on this post…as I move forward sharing my heart and my journey.
I know some think these are too long.
I know some think I should not post the scriptures clearly in the text.
I know some just do not agree with me.
But, if you are reading this, please post, and let me know…and post here…not on FB…go to the bottom of this post, and find the small link that says comment!
Thank you!
Thanks for joining me in this journey,
In His hands and under His wings,
~Christi

Hi Christi- Thought I’d post a quick vote of encouragement for you to keep up the good work leading others to our loving, merciful Lord and of course, the truth. Our lives are worthless without Him as we would have no purpose. As the apostle Paul says in 1 Corinthians 15: 32, without the risen Christ we have nothing to look forward to in this life so we might as well eat, drink and party for tomorrow we die. How awful that would be to have no hope, peace or reward for the tribulations we endure in this life. Praise… Read more »
Congratulations Christi on your 100th post. Really do enjoy them. You rock girl friend so rock on.
Thanks! You two are the BEST neighbors in the world….and I’m so glad that no matter how far God takes us apart…we will live eternally side by side!
Congratulations Mom! I am very proud of you.
I have found that those who fuss about what you are saying about GOD then they are to self absorbed and can’t understand that you feel the need to tell people how you feel in your heart about the great blessings that GOD has and will do for you. I was so easy for me to get people to hang out and drink and play cards and go out to the bar when I did that. But let me say I am going to church and would like them to come with me and hear the word and they fall… Read more »
Thank you for commenting on my blog! You are so right…we can get people to do anything other than to spend time with Jesus and learning about His word. I have a call to write a book…well, several books…and I am writing them here on this blog…People who have told me to write a book(confirming what God has told me to do), won’t read my blog…because I print the Bible verses IN the text. When you read my writing…if you try to take the Bible verses out…the writing makes no sense, because I believe that my words will not change… Read more »
This is your blog; and your posts are a reflection of you. Of course some people don’t agree with you. If they feel passionately enough about it, they can start their own blog. I appreciate the witness you give and wish you great success and happiness with your next 100 posts. The Lord bless and keep you. 🙂
Cheryl,
thank you so much for your prayers….
Christi, Congratulations on your 100th post! Keep sharing your heart and your insights, and I”m sure you will grow a larger readership. When you have a lot to say, just break it into a part A and a part B — then your posts won’t be so long! Keep the scripture — or you can link to the verses on blueletterbible.org. I do that often, just to keep the readability of the post. And as far as people agreeing with you — the whole purpose of a blog is being able to share your opinion. Who said everyone has to… Read more »
Elizabeth,
The problem with just linking to the Bible verses is that the words in the verse are crucial to the understanding of my point….and most people do not click on links to go read the Bible verse. Having the verses within the context of the writing is needed for the readability of the post.
The problem with posting part A and B is that it breaks the flow.
Thank you for your insights…
~Christi
I’m not a blog reader either, but I know from P2P that you have lots of great insights to share, and I’m sure the blog is a blessing to many!
Congrats on your 100th post, Christi!
Wow! 100 blogs, that is awesome! Always enjoy your blogs, guess I’m just guilty of reading and not responding. Will try to do better. ~Hugs~
I’m guilty of getting despondent…and thinking that maybe I am all alone….
Thanks for your encouragement!
Well I must admit I’m not a blog reader but I wanted to help so here I am.
Congratulations! And keep it up, your posts are so encouraging. 🙂
Thank you, Kris….
I appreciate that!
Hi Christi!
Wow, 100 posts! WTG, Christi. 🙂
Hi!
Hey lady! Congratulations you are a centurion…of POSTS that is! 🙂
Don’t despair. I have written and even done audio so much between my four sites and rarely get a comment. Very. Rarely. In fact, typically, the more serious a post, the rarer will be the comments. If you want comments, you need to write something stupid — or at least of no real importance. I am always amazed that when I post something stupid on Facebook, I will get scores of responses. Conversely, when I write something with some depth and impact… And by the way, I had to post this twice because the captcha code is below the post… Read more »
I appreciate your posts….um, when I read them! 😉
I’ll at least post a ‘like’ on yours to let you know I read them, ok?
Seriously, your posting encouraged me to do this…your Bible teaching, many years ago, grounded me, and your continuation and endurance to run this race continue to inspire me….
I love you, Simon!
Hi! Congrats on your 100th post. And, yes, I’ve read them all. 🙂
